About Ride Well Wheels
Many Seniors are alone and, in many cases, living in low-income conditions. These individuals do not have direct access to basic necessities and are unable to easily get food, toiletries and medicine.
We are not going to let our local Senior Population suffer. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit community resource organization, Ride Well Wheels works alongside MedFlorida Wellness Centers and MedFlorida Community Access and collaborate with local medical and commercial organizations to safeguard and help improve the lives of seniors. Right now we are all facing a critical time, so we must come together and help.

COMMUNITY FOOD DISTRIBUTION & TELEMEDICINE AT-HOME SOLUTION
Program Overview
Due to excellent work done in our local communities for many years, one of our partners, MedFlorida Medical Centers, has been granted exclusive access to multiple Senior communities throughout Florida. Therefore, we at Ride-Well Wheels, have decided to engage with MedFlorida Medical Centers to create and launch a new program called the "COMMUNITY FOOD DISTRIBUTION & TELEMEDICINE AT-HOME SOLUTION"
How This Program Works
MedFlorida Medical Centers (formerly Medical Consultants of Florida) is open and their providers are available to see patients via telemedicine appointments. Unfortunately, many patients are unable to participate in telemedicine appointments. For this reason, we are working together and doing the following:
1. The MedFlorida Patient Service Representatives (PSRs) are visiting all of the local communities where their patients reside
2. Each MedFlorida PSR is visiting each community on a regular basis and is bringing an electronic device to setup a private virtual exam room station so that they may conduct individual telemedicine appointments with patients and community residents
3. Each telemedicine appointment will represent a healthier patient population; We believe this is an important solution during a very challenging time
4. Each MedFlorida PSR is also going to distribute food and other essential needs items to those patients and residents within each community.
About Each Ride-Well Wheels Food Bag
In collaboration with Goya and El Sembrador, contents may include the following and the total value of each gift bag will be between $10 to $14 USD:
- Canned Goods, Pasta, Vegetable oil, Grains (rice, beans etc), Seasoning, Evaporated Milk
Each gift bag may also include either a brochure and/or a postcard listing the sponsor(s) who is/are covering the costs of the gift bag.
